Privacy and Cookie Notice

1.Data controller

The controller is Dejan Dučić, Company ID (IČO) 08959382, registered at Sokolská 1883/8, 120 00 Prague 2 – Nové Město, Czech Republic, operating as Strategic Intelligence. For privacy matters, email hello@strategicintelligence.eu.

2.Website access and free downloads

You can view the website and download Chapter 1 for free without providing an email address. The website does not offer a newsletter or collect email addresses for marketing updates. During normal website operation, hosting and security logs may record technical information such as your IP address, browser or device information, the date and time, and the page or file requested. This information is used to operate and secure the website and to diagnose technical problems.

3.Enquiries and support

If you contact Strategic Intelligence, we process your contact details, message and related correspondence to respond to your enquiry, provide support, take steps at your request before entering into a contract, or protect legitimate business and legal interests.

4.Course orders through Gumroad

All paid course orders use Gumroad. Gumroad acts as merchant of record and reseller and processes the information needed for checkout, payment, applicable tax, receipts, fraud and security checks, refunds and payment disputes, and digital delivery under its own terms and privacy notice.

Strategic Intelligence receives the customer and transaction information Gumroad makes available for course access, support, licence administration, buyer or order identification in protected paid files, business records, fraud prevention and compliance with legal obligations. Depending on the transaction, this may include contact details, the purchased product and language, order and payment status, amount and tax information, access or refund records, and related support correspondence.

5.Service providers

Strategic Intelligence currently uses Netlify for website hosting, Zoho for domain email and support, and Gumroad for paid-course checkout and digital delivery. These providers process information for the functions they supply and under their own applicable privacy terms. More information is available in their privacy notices: Netlify, Zoho and Gumroad.

6.International data transfers

Some service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where GDPR applies, the relevant provider and Strategic Intelligence rely on an applicable legal transfer mechanism and appropriate safeguards. Provider privacy notices give further information about their locations and safeguards.

7.Retention

Technical logs are retained according to hosting and security needs. Enquiry and support correspondence is kept for as long as needed to respond and maintain a reasonable support history. Order, receipt, payment, refund and licence records are retained for fulfilment, support, fraud prevention, licence evidence and periods required by accounting, tax and other applicable law. Data is then deleted or anonymised when it is no longer needed.

8.Cookies and similar technologies

Strategic Intelligence pages do not use analytics, advertising, affiliate or retargeting cookies or tracking pixels. The site may use only technical functions necessary to deliver and secure the pages. Gumroad loads only after you follow a normal external purchase link and may use its own necessary cookies and similar technologies for ordering, session security, fraud prevention, payment and delivery. Under this current model, the Strategic Intelligence pages do not display a consent banner for non-essential cookies because they do not set them.

9.Your rights

Subject to the applicable conditions, you may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of your personal data, object to processing based on legitimate interests, request data portability, or withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. You may also lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů), uoou.gov.cz.

10.Automated decisions

Strategic Intelligence does not use website data to make decisions about individuals based solely on automated processing that produces legal or similarly significant effects. Gumroad may use automated fraud and security checks as described in its own privacy information.

11.Changes to this notice

This notice will be updated if the website, data use, providers or checkout process changes. The latest published version is available on this page.
